· Special Lecture Series on Korean Culture for Foreigners [On-going]

Hollym Corp., Publishers has been releasing books on Korea since 1963 and now is to hold public lecture series on Korean culture--Korean food, Korean paintings, and hanok (Korean traditional house), which foreigners are mostly interested in. We hope anyone who loves Korea could enjoy these series of lectures and get a greater chance to better approach to the genuine beauty of the country.

Lecturer: Dr. Yi Song-mi
Professor Emerita of Art History at the Academy of Korean Studies
She has been a member of the National History Council of Korea and has served as the President of Korean Art History Association. Overseas she is a member of the editorial board of Archives of Asian Art. In February, 2001, she held the 21st Franklin Murphy Lectureship at the University of Kansas. Professor Yi was educated at Seoul National University (B.A.), the University of California at Berkeley (M.A.), and Princeton University where she received a Ph.D. degree in Art History.
