The fifth in the six-volume series, the 29 articles in "Korean History: Discovery of Its Characteristics and Development" are separated into five major eras: formation of the Korean nation and the ancient period, the Goryeo Dynasty period, the Joseon Dynasty period, the modern period, and the colonial and post- liberation period.
